Partner Camp with Bad Dog Arts

To understand the present, we must comprehend the past. Mornings at the Museum will find campers investigating the differences between anthropology and archaeology and gaining an understanding of Utah's past cultures. We'll also learn how to flint knap, weave baskets, and create pots and rock art. We'll end the week participating in a trading activity that will highlight the benefits and disadvantages as well as the underlying reasons for trading. Afternoons will be spent at Bad Dog Arts, creating modern artifacts and telling stories through picture. Through clay, beads, textiles, and sculptures, students will learn of the past while creating the future. Drop camper off at NHMU by 8:30am and pick up at Bad Dog Arts by 4:30pm. Transportation between sites is provided.
